I self-medicated with alcohol to the point where GOD saved me from the demons of alcohol and suicide. In late 2017, I received a call from the wife of a brother-in-arms, “Doc, what do I do? Eric is hanging in the garage.”

Veteran suicide rates that are reported are full of conflicting information, and he has lost more of his brothers and sisters to the demon of suicide.

One is too many. The mission he was given is to provide safe places where my brothers and sisters can gather and find hope.
