Dave Rossberg

Dave Rossberg is a U.S. Navy submarine veteran turned small business advisor with one big mission: helping technical business owners get home in time for dinner while still growing their companies. He works with tradesmen, contractors, engineers, and other technical professionals turned business owners to build highly profitable, self-sustaining businesses that bring more freedom, less stress, and peace of mind.

Dave firmly believes that small businesses and their leaders are the foundation of our society, economy, and communities. He knows that giving those smart and passionate entrepreneurs even slightly better tools, or a little more information and direction, can lead to drastically better results, and, because of that, they can lead totally different lives and have the biggest possible impact on their clients, teams, families, and communities.

With over 15 years of leadership experience spanning the military, corporate, startup, and small business worlds, Dave has a track record of transforming underperforming teams into top performers. During his seven years as a submarine warfare officer, including two overseas deployments, he led diverse teams through high-stakes situations, spearheading the 180-degree turnaround of the poorest-performing nuclear engineering team on his submarine, turning them into one of the top teams in the fleet.

After transitioning to business, Dave successfully grew two companies of his own and played a critical role in scaling two others, including one that was acquired by a multi-billion-dollar company. He’s known for his hands-on, no-nonsense leadership rooted in empowerment, ownership, and accountability, helping business owners streamline operations, improve team performance, and create systems that run like well-oiled machines.

Now, as a business coach and advisor, Dave helps business owners turn chaos into structure, firefighting into focus, and stress into sustainable success. His ultimate goal? To help business owners take back control, build thriving businesses, and create a life they’re proud of, one with more freedom, more impact, and fewer sleepless nights.

Dave holds an MBA from Columbia Business School with a focus on operations, strategy, and management, as well as a BS in Materials Science & Engineering from Penn State University, with a minor in entrepreneurship.
