Kevin Crowsyn

Kevin Crowsyn is a Tampa based digital strategist, award-winning U.S. Army Master Sergeant, nonprofit leader, and marketing professor. With more than 20 years of experience spanning the military, nonprofit, and private sectors, Kevin blends real-world leadership with forward-thinking strategy to drive meaningful change. 

As a marketing consultant, public speaker, and entrepreneur, Kevin leads Crowsyn Creative LLC, a boutique marketing agency in Tampa Bay that helps brands thrive through strategy-first content and emerging technologies. He also serves as Chief Content Officer for the Red Star Foundation, a national nonprofit supporting families affected by veteran and first responder suicide.

In his military career, Kevin has pioneered digital transformation efforts within the U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC), co-authoring two doctrinal publications and launching the Army’s first major large scale digital recruiting initiative. His contributions earned him recognition from USAREC Commander Lieutenant General Johnny Davis as “one of the organization’s single most influential figures of the past decade.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kevin served as First Sergeant of Orlando Medical Recruiting Company, where his digital-first strategy helped the unit to make Army history as the first to rank #1 in the nation for three consecutive years. He was personally commended by the U.S. Army Surgeon General for his leadership.

Kevin currently teaches Emerging Media and the Market at West Virginia University, helping graduate students explore AI, chatbots, virtual influencers, and the metaverse as tools for modern integrated marketing. He is also the founder and president of the Association of Military Alumni at the University of Florida, where he earned an M.A. in Mass Communication and was honored with the 2024 Inclusive Leadership Award for Industry Achievement.

Kevin has been a featured speaker on stages at for Social Media Strategies Summit, Military Influencer Conference, Shriners International, National Association of Government Communicators, University of Florida, Veterans Social Summit, and more.

Kevin lives in the Tampa Bay region with his wife Kyla and their son. He is currently working on his first book The Currents & Crosswinds of Innovation: Navigating the Forces That Drive and Derail Change
