Treazure Owens

Treazure Owens, known as "Chicago's Favorite Veteran," is a highly acclaimed Marketing and Business Development Consultant. With eleven years of marketing expertise and a six-year background as an Intelligence Analyst in the U.S. Army (Active Duty and National Guard), including overseas service in South Korea and Europe, she offers a unique blend of skills. Medically retired, Ms. Owens now leverages this distinctive combination of intelligence and marketing acumen to support small businesses and nonprofits through strategic marketing and business development via her company, Treazure Marketing. As the founder of the Chicago Innovation Awards-nominated Black Veterans Expo and leader of a JROTC Cadet Internship Program, she actively empowers the veteran community and the next generation. Her commitment extends to serving on a state advisory council for veteran suicide prevention and partnering with the Veterans Chamber of Commerce in Illinois to amplify veteran voices and business opportunities. Among her esteemed recognitions are the Illinois Department of Veteran Affairs "25 Illinois Women Veterans of 2025" Honoree, the Jesse Brown Community Leader Award, and seven service awards. Her past work includes projects for the Illinois Veterans 4 Change Chicago DNC Veterans Party, The Illinois SBDIC-ITC's National Small Business Week veterans and military spouse event, The National Veterans Art Museum, among others, where she's helped raise over $100K for Veteran Service Organizations, over $250K for Chicago Youth Programs, and worked alongside federally-funded teams to launch and scale veteran-owned businesses—all while pursuing her MBA full-time.
