About this speaker
I have been through a lot in and out of the Marine Corps. I did 8 years active duty and deployed 2x to Helmand Afghanistan. I was involved in numerous IED blasts in 2010 and rendered non-deployable. After leaving the Marine Corps in 2015 I became homeless and severely addicted to heroine. I lost everything to include my wife and little girl. I chose to live on the streets and had given up all hope. In 2019 I decided to give recovery one more shot for the sake of my child. I never looked back and after over six years of sobriety I have built a life far beyond anything I could have ever imagined and have the greatest relationship with my Wife and Daughter.
